Head Chef, Grant Goodson

Grant is a passionate chef, inspired by Italian cooking and wider Mediterranean influences, with a deep love for fresh, flavourful produce and authentic hand-rolled pasta. His culinary journey began in his grandmother’s kitchen, where he learned the importance of using the freshest ingredients and taking time to prepare them with care and attention to detail.

After working with some of the best chefs in the UK, including Gennaro Contaldo, Grant honed his skills under Jamie Oliver at Fifteen where he worked for almost 10 years. After the closing of Fifteen, Grant teamed up with Harbour Brewery to bring you The Atlantic, Polzeath

With a focus on simple, yet indulgent dishes that showcase the natural beauty and flavours of top-quality ingredients, Grant and his amazing team are devoted to bringing the authentic Italian experience to every plate, with a Cornish twist. From fluffy gnocchi to amazing neapolitan pizzas each dish on his menu is carefully crafted to satisfy the taste buds and nourish the soul.
